Hey everyone! Let’s talk about how to lob offensively.
As the coach to several women’s USTA and day league teams, I hear players talking about this or that. One thing I constantly hear is players complaining about the lob (usually after they lose). However, the lob is the most underrated shot in doubles. The lob can be used both offensively AND defensively.
Many players have trouble lobbing offensively because they focus on changing their stroke, which causes an unforced error partly because they have the wrong stroke process.
Here’s a quick visualization that will help you lob offensively without thinking about your stroke. Give it a try, and then come back and tell me how much you love to lob!
My goal is to give you the tools you need to be the best tennis player you can be. If you have any questions about rules or situations that happened to you, please tell me about it in the comments section below, and I’ll address it in a future video!
