On November 30, 2018, tennis apparel brand, AD LOVE and New York Junior Tennis & Learning partnered to host the first-ever NYJTL X AD LOVE “Draw for Love Challenge”.
Over 1,000 students in the NYJTL ACES Program created t-shirt designs featuring elements of New York City, love and of course, tennis. Though all of the entries were fantastic, there could only be one winner:
Meet Conor, an 8th grader from PS-71 in the Bronx who came up with the winning concept. He really wowed the judges with his talent and thoughtfulness.
Conor’s winning design has been made into “wearable art”, and is being featured on the front of limited edition 100% cotton, long-sleeved T-shirts which are now for sale.
The limited edition Tees are made in the USA, and 100% of the profits from every sale will go toward NYJTL’s transformative tennis and education programs which better children across New York City, giving them the opportunity to participate in tennis classes, art classes, and other educational enrichment.
And 100% of this cool T-shirt will benefit your wardrobe…just sayin’ 🙂
Recently, AD LOVE co-founder Scott Hardy had the privilege of sitting down with Conor at his school for a quick interview.
