However, when it comes to another tennis legend, Rafael Nadal, the Australian star has completely different feelings. Talking about the Spanish tennis star, Kyrgios has recently made a surprising revelation about his latent thoughts about Nadal.
Nick Kyrgios says he wants to ‘kill’ Rafa Nadal.
The Australian tennis player was recently featured in an interview with the renowned actor and comedian Jon-Bernard Kairouz. During the interview, Jon-Bernard played the ‘F**k, Marry, Kill’ question game to gauge Kyrgios’ sentiments towards the Big 3 of tennis, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic. He asked him for a preview of his picks among those tennis legends.
Nick Kyrgios answered by saying he has often thought about it while seeing them in the locker room. While talking about the Serbian tennis legend, he said, “I will probably marry Novak.”
Along with many fans, Federer’s charm has caught the attention of the 27-year-old. Notably, when it came to the “Who’d you f**k?” question, Kyrgios’ pick was the Swiss Maestro. On the other hand, the Spanish tennis legend Nadal evoked wholly different emotions in the Australian. Kyrgios said that he would “probably kill Rafa.”

Apart from this, the Wimbledon finalist was also asked about his underarm serves during the interview. Kyrgios answered by saying that he doesn’t feel like a coward regarding his underarm serves. He further defended his actions by saying that it had won him a lot of points and that he was also not breaking any rules. Kyrgios added that it has also made him a ‘trendsetter,’ as many other players are now doing it on the court.
Kyrgios’ bromance with Djokovic
The 27-year-old tennis star might have different feelings and sentiments for his fellow players. However, when it comes to the Serbian legend, Kyrgios shares a brotherly bond with him. And it is all mutual between the two players, as they both have often lavishly praised each other.
Apart from this, Djokovic sent an invitation to the Aussie before the start of the Australian Open. Despite struggling with an injury, Kyrgios accepted the Serbian’s invitation for a practice match in Melbourne Park.
