When I think of Wimbledon, I think of grass courts, epic tennis, strawberries and cream, champagne, and Pimm’s Cup.
A little factoid: Originally, Pimm’s No. 1 was made using gin, quinine, and a secret mixture of herbs to aid digestion.
Today’s recipe is a little different, though it is still refreshing and easy to make. It has a lower percentage of alcohol (25%), so it won’t get you too tipsy. No wonder it’s considered the drink of summer in Britain!
Here’s a recipe for the traditional Pimm’s Cup, which uses ginger ale. However, if you don’t like the taste of ginger, you can swap it for carbonated lemonade or 7UP.
